All Houston SPCA Birthday Parties take place on Saturday or Sunday at 2:00 PM. 

Time of Event:

Set-up time is 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM.

Tear down time is 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM (our volunteer team will assist).

Special Notes:

• My child is turning 7 to 14 years of age.
• Maximum 20 birthday guests with a final count provided 3 days before the scheduled birthday party.
• Maximum five adult chaperones present at the party. The acoustics in the party room make it difficult to conduct the activities if there are people talking in the back. The Houston SPCA asks that adults who wish to converse while the activities are in progress do so outside of the party room.
• Any younger relatives (5 years of age and younger) that attend the party will not be counted as birthday guests and cannot participate in the activities, crafts, guided shelter tour, or animal interactions. Coloring books and crayons are available upon request.
• At least one adult chaperone will remain with the younger relatives at all times in the Education Room.
• I will provide all food, drink, plates, napkins, utensils and decorations for the party.
• I will assist the volunteer party leaders in the set-up and clean-up of the Education Room before and after the birthday party.
• All party decorations will remain inside the Education Room for the duration of the party.
• No candles may be lit in the shelter at any time.
• If my child wishes to have an animal interaction, I will distribute the provided waivers to parents of all attending birthday guests and ensure they are signed by the date of the scheduled birthday party.
