Help us respond to unimaginable disaster by giving generously.
Hurricane Harvey has proven to be unlike anything the city has ever seen. The damage is unprecedented, the loss is overwhelming.
The Houston SPCA is the region's lead non-profit agency for animal-related disaster rescue, relief and resources. That means we are coordinating the response for Houston and the surrounding counties. The work ahead of us is daunting, but we are built for the task.
So many people have asked me how they can help, and the short answer is...
As a private non-profit organization, we rely solely on donations to keep our doors open.
Here are some smaller costs that we face every single day:
- For just $140, you can provide 100 of our cats with cardboard scratching posts in their kennels.
- For $120, 20 kitties get their Comfort Condos, safe places to hide in their kennels when they're feeling stressed.
- $100 helps cover the cost of medical testing for the senior dogs and cats in our Golden Paws program who are available to adopt at a discount.
- And when our field response teams drive to and from a cruelty report or injured animal rescue, it costs us about $120 to fuel and maintain our specialty vehicles. Your money can literally help save lives.
Please Sponsor Me!
I (and the animals) would be eternally grateful if you could find it in your hearts (and wallets) to support me with a donation by selecting the green "DONATE NOW" button located above the Personal Progress bar.
BUT WAIT, there's more!
I'm doing some donation incentives for my iWalk for Animals campaign, since I already have all these great prizes from last year.
